skimomma Posted July 20, 2021 Posted July 20, 2021 As someone who does not have cable or any kind of streaming service, I always find myself baffled when it comes to events like the Olympics. I am in the US. After several wrongs turns, I was able to catch the gymnastics olympic trials using YouTubeTV to access a local (if you can call two hours away "local") NBC channel. That was fine, except I want to see ALL of the gymnastics and do not want to switch between sports, which is what that channel is scheduled to show during the actual Olympics. I see PeacockTV is covering all gymnastics "live." This is my question. If I sign up for this service, can I see the streams on demand, after the fact? Or do I have to be up at 4am to watch the live streams? Or if anyone has suggestions on any other way to catch as much gymnastics as possible without cable, I'd love to hear them. 2 Quote
cjzimmer1 Posted July 20, 2021 Posted July 20, 2021 I don't know the answer but I'm glad you asked because I'm in the exact same spot. I might watch a few other sports if available but not really necessary either. Quote
egao_gakari Posted July 20, 2021 Posted July 20, 2021 Same boat! We'd love to watch the gymnastics but the time difference is... Quote
Storygirl Posted July 20, 2021 Posted July 20, 2021 https://www.nbcolympics.com/news/how-watch-tokyo-olympic-games https://parade.com/1219979/rose-maura-lorre/how-to-watch-stream-tokyo-olympics/ I found this description of what you can watch where. I'm not sure if any of those will be available on demand. The Parade article explains how to watch if you have a Fire stick. 1 Quote
