Layla
What do you do when your sleep meds don't work anymore (Ambien)😒🆘
Tap
Welcome to the forum. The place to start is to talk to your doctor. They will know you medical history and can give you recommendations that are specific to your health history, sleep needs, and take into consideration what you have tried/failed in the past. Good Seep Hygiene is a necessary, vital step and can make a huge difference.

If there are none in your area, see if you can do a virtual visit. Both of my daughters have seen sleep specialists, and they are definitely a big step up from a PCP.

Jean in Newcastle
It's hard to advise you when we don't know what you've tried before. I take a sustained release melatonin. I also have gone to a sleep specialist and have a Cpap for sleep apnea and a prescription for meds that help me to sleep. A sleep specialist will help to pinpoint why you are having trouble sleeping. Is it hormonal? Due to bad sleep habits? Due to sleep apnea? Due to pain? Due to racing thoughts?

Night Elf
So far tonight I've gotten 2 hrs. 20 mins. sleep. I've been awake for 3 hours now and am just now feeling a little tired. I should try to go back to sleep but I've been working on Bible studies for the past 3 hours and thoroughly enjoying myself which unfortunately is brain stimulating.
