I am proud. This is actually also her honors project for the honors college. She is finishing the requirements a year early! What I am most proud of however, is this that this has been done with little guidance. She told the mentor she was interested in a topic. She was given a paper to read and took it from there. She wrote the code to encrypt and decrypt the images. And taught herself all the concepts. Her mentor did not know much about some of this stuff. Not bad for someone who did not even like math until her junior year of high school and was focused on fine arts. She has an amazing singing voice as well as some math knowledge.
