Online Dual Enrollment with Embry Riddle

Recommended Posts

I took a MOOC course about "drones" (that is a simplified word and not what the course was called).   The ERAU materials available for that Free course were IMO very extensive and high quality.  No experience with their credit courses, but they teach people on military bases (and other places) around the world, in addition to their  2 Brick and Mortar campuses (FL and AZ).   Worth checking out... A couple of years ago, they offered 2 other MOOC courses that I am hoping they will offer again, if and when their Staff has the time and interest to do that.

Has anyone tried the dual enrollment courses?

We decided against it because one of our local junior colleges offers an AS in Professional Aeronautics. It is only $46/per unit (or free for dual enrollment), so Sacha hopes to take those courses locally and pursue scholarships with Civil Air Patrol and other flight organizations to help pay for flight training. He turns 11 in a few days, but can't join CAP until 12, but we are getting him a glider ride for his bday. He can start glider training and solo gliders at a younger age, and everyone we have talked to recommended piloting gliders first, if you get the chance.
