Ottakee
Tonight I took my girls to walk the beach for the first this year. Yes, one DD in flip flops did have to walk through the snow to get to the beach but it was wonderful.
wintermom
Beautiful photo! By "west Michigan" is that considered the western shore of Lake Michigan, or the western portion of the Upper Peninsula? I'm wondering if spring has arrived on the shores of Lake Superior yet.

I doubt it. Big storm here last weekend. Traverse City (northwest LP) got over 18 inches of new snow last weekend.

My sister has a house on Walloon Lake in Petoskey. The lake is still frozen solid with snow on top. They are worried it won’t thaw by mid May when their dock is scheduled to by put back in and theirboat taken out of dry dock. So I’m thinking spring has not come to Lake Superior.
