ExcitedMama
I’d like something similar to ELTL with actual passages to copy. Similar to the request in the other thread I’d like something with substance to have DS copy. Unfortunately the ELTL workbooks aren’t available through Rainbow and I need something that is and is secular for my charter to pay for it. Any recommendations? Kareni
When my daughter (now a college graduate) was in 7th grade, I did two things for copywork that I can now recall. I collected inspirational sayings for her to copy. Some I found by using a search engine, others I found in Bartlett's Quotations. I also had her copy passages from Harry Potter y la piedra filosofal which is the Spanish version of the first Harry Potter book. She was studying Spanish at the time and was a big Harry Potter fan. SanDiegoMom
I bought this from Amazon: Great Literature Copywork: Practice Cursive Handwriting with Excerpts from the Great Books (Classic Copywork: Cursive) (Volume 1) There is also an Inspirational quotes book and presidential quotes. I might just use one of those next year!

nixpix5
Another option is to get the Start Write software. It is so easy to type up your own copywork and print it out each day. That way you can take excerpts from your student's curriculum and reading selections or just any fun lit or poem you fancy :) 1
