elegantlion
I'm in the midst of applying for graduate school, and the schools I'm considering have mid-January deadlines. I'm assuming it would be okay to send current transcripts without this semester's final grades. They won't get issued until mid-December and the school closes that next week and they'll only just open again the week before the deadlines. In other words, I don't trust the registrar to get out this transcripts with this semester's grade in a timely basis. I'll have to send final ones after the school year anyway, correct? Caroline
That sounds what I did 25 years ago. It worked.
Laura Corin
I deal with graduate applications for a UK university. If you already know the grades but don't have an official transcript, we'd be happy to see an unofficial statement from you with the promise of the official transcript later. You might want to contact the admissions team there to see if that would be helpful to them.
JanetC
I'd just go ask what their turnaround would be and whether the transcript would be on time. I know DD's school had a box to tick on the form to hold until term grades were posted so you could do the request form a little early.
