solascriptura
We've moved to far away from our main source of one of my favorite autumn foods. Apple cider doughnuts. Does anyone have a good recipe? I don't like hard cake doughnuts or baked ones either. They need to be fried, pillowy delights. I only eat them once a year so it needs to be good! PinkTulip
I don't have a recipe, but my mouth started watering when I read your thread title - those sound amazing! I can't wait to try a recipe that someone will hopefully share.

Carrie12345
I've never had them, but my mother raves about the ones she can only get at an annual festival. She buys extra and keeps them in the freezer, lol.
mellifera33
Our homeschool group does an annual trip to a local cider mill that makes these. They are wonderful.
Mrs_JWM
We just bought some today. Our community center holds a tiny farmers' market on Wednesdays, so we picked some up on our way to the library. They had a special - 6 donuts + a 16-ounce bottle of cider for $5. YUM!
