Damselfly
Has anyone ever used any of the DVD's in this series for art instruction? http://www.thegluckmethod.com/howtodraw/courses/aod_kids_set.html My DS5 is very visually oriented and I'm wondering if he'd benefit from a DVD course in how to draw vs. me trying to teach it to him from a book. Anyone BTDT?? :bigear:
dcjlkplus3
I have never heard of this but it looks cool. I will have my husband (the artist) look at it and see what he thinks about it, I don't draw.
SoCal Sandra
They took a year of art lessons at one of the Gluck studios (he has a chain of studios in Southern California) and when they took the summer off they used the DVDs. They resumed classes this past Fall and had forgotten very little. I like the mature and respectful tone of the DVD. The course uses the term the "Gluck Method", which is Gluck's take on, or marketing of, the classical method of imitation.
Jenileigh
I too have never heard of this but I'm looking forward to looking at it.
Jenileigh
I'm going to order this. My almost 13yo dd wants the adult 1 class but my 7yo will have to have the childs. It'll be pricey but I like that all the materials come with the dvds. Convenience, open and go. I hope they like it! I'm so excited!

RootAnn
From the looks of her profile, she hasn't been on in awhile. From checking her blog, she's deep into nursing school. Maybe try putting a comment on her latest post on her blog?
