Chemistry experiments at home

Recommended Posts

I bought Zumdahl (Introductory Chemistry: A Foundation) for next year, and it looks quite manageable.  I also bought the Illustrated Guide to Home Chemistry Experiments.  I am a bit overwhelmed by it.  Does anyone have a list of which experiments you did and found easily doable at home?  Or any that you tried to do and found were really too much hassle/expense/danger to do at home?  (This is for 10th grade introductory Chemistry.)

I bought the Zumdahl text and the illustrated guide to home chemistry experiments, as welI, for next year. I also bought the Mays lab guide and am going to look to that as well. So I'm in the middle of doing the same thing as you are. Julie, may I message you for some notes as well?
