It is a pretty good scope and sequence of what needs to be covered to get through college prep middle school or general high school. These guides are good examples of how to notebook and journal a subject even if the topics are not the ones you want to cover. They happened to be $7 on Amazon, so I figured it would be a good way to see if 11 year old dd likes them. She was excited and after perusing them asked if we could buy the rest of the series. I think they look very well laid out, and visually appealing for a kid that likes color. I'll have to decide whether to fit them into our school, or just let them be reference books.
