wonderchica
http://www.cnn.com/2017/04/14/us/aaron-hernandez-verdict/ Anyone else been following this case? I admit to having a morbid fascination with this guy who had it all and threw it away. This will make a dramatic miniseries one day... Update: He was found dead in his prison cell today by apparent suicide. Wow. Edited April 19, 2017 by wonderchica
SquirrellyMama
I haven't really followed it, but I did hear about it last year or the year before. I thought from what I read that it was pretty clear that he was involved, and deserved his/a conviction. Kelly

His house is still on the market http://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/22-Ronald-C-Meyer-Dr_North-Attleboro_MA_02760_M38924-37001 When everything went down with the first murder, the helicopters and press in the area was crazy for a quiet small(ish) town. wonderchica
I can't get over the star witness in this case, Hernandez's drug dealer/best friend who says Hernandez shot him in the face. I'm not sure if I believe his story, but he was definitely a compelling witness. And the fiancé bringing his 4 year old daughter to court? Heartbreaking all around. I hope the victims' families will get closure one day.
gardenmom5
I've only followed it in the headlines. at least he's locked up on a previous case for which he was convicted.
poppy
I don't know if he's innocent or guilty, but, his story is sad. His life held so much promise. $40 million contract.....but he made bad choices, had idiot friends, was arrogant. He helped carry out a murder, over nothing really. He will never walk free again. He is in a cell all day except for a short exercise break. He would have two Superbowl rings if he hadn't been such a fool.
