freemanfamilyof6
Looking for a Medieval History (that is Biblical worldview/Christian) that will be appropriate for my 2nd grader next year. My older girls will be using Dianna Waring History Revealed Medieval/Middle Ages. We tried to bring her along this year with Ancients and it wasn't great. I would prefer something targeted for early elementary for Medieval/Middle Ages. I haven't seen many options for early elementary Middle ages. Does anyone have a suggestion? MyLife
What about Veritas Press Middle Ages, Renaissance, and Reformation along with the books from the Level 1 kit?

caedmyn
You could read the chapters in CHOW that go along with the Middle Ages. Or just read living books that go along--we're doing Middle Ages next year and I haven't started planning it yet so not a lot of specific suggestions, but I believe The Door in the Wall is set in that time period. Also, Simply Charlotte Mason just released a living-book-style Middle Ages spine. It's intended to be used as a family, so not specifically for younger kids, but perhaps it still would work for you. It's called A Castle with Many Rooms.
2_girls_mommy
I would just read SOTW2, and do some of the AG, and pick up the book suggestions from the library. Even my high schoolers get a lot from the beautiful picture books on the topics.
