goldenecho
I'm using Bite Sized Physics to cover force, motion and energy...and am using Ellen McHenry's elements. I'm wondering if I should do one of these before the other? Even if you haven't used these specific ones, I'm curious which topic you would cover first? Thanks! Jackie
I doubt it matters. We used McHenry's The Elements and lots of BFSU, and mostly cover topics in the order that interest dictates. It's not been an issue.
pitterpatter
We studied the elements during chemistry, and force, motion and energy during physics. Chemistry comes before physics in the four-year cycle, so perhaps study the elements first?
SilverMoon
Before high school level science it really doesn't matter. Just pick one. :)
Monica_in_Switzerland
We're using Elements right now and it wouldn't matter if your kid had any physics or not.
Mike in SA
Pretty much irrelevant at this point. Until physical chemistry, statistical mechanics, quantum mechanics, or other similarly advanced college-level topics, there will be absolutely no dependencies. So, go with interest first.
