almondbutterandjelly
I love all the Usborne Beginners books. I also love the Illustrated Shakespeare, Illustrated Dickens, Illustrated Arabian Nights. We also use the Usborne Encyclopedia of the Ancient World quite a bit during our ancients year.

almondbutterandjelly
How old were your kids when you used ancients? Well, actually, we're using it now. I have my 9th grader (a visual learner) outline and read the pertinent sections of ancients before we read our regular ancient history book. It's got a lot of good visuals plus a pretty concise big picture view of each topic on the page (she's a big picture thinker, too). So 9th grade, as a supplement. TriciaT
For little guys, we have loved the Farmyard Tales! Their atlas and illustrated dictionary are also great! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
waa510
Their illustrated books, their sticker books (Egyptian, Shakespeare, Renaissance, Famous Artists), their see-inside books.. I've often had more Usborne books in my own collection than the Usborne sales-person. My kids *love* them all.
8circles
The Hey Jack & I am Jack series. The Debt series The series about the yetis... can't remember the titles. I love so many of the Kane Miller selections for picture books... The Fox No, That's wrong Why I can't remember more of the top of my head, but I know there are several more. I'll look through the shelves tomorrow if I have time.
dirty ethel rackham
I've been a consultant for 12 years. People have mentioned many of my old faves. My new faves ... Where's Will (lovely picture book about William Shakespeare that has a seek & find feature - hence the title.) Lift-the-Flap Computers and Coding (an upgrade of their coding books that are classics in the UK) Coding for Beginners Using Scratch (ditto the above.) Jonathan James and The Whatif Monster (great message for kids and adults) any of the Shine-a-light titles. There's a new one about the Space Station!
