hsingscrapper Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 I've found workbooks for English but I'm wondering if there are workbooks for pre-algebra and up? Fury still seems to be getting lost and math beyond pre-algebra is my nemesis. I'm fond of accounting but haven't found a good substitute for that. He's decided (for a while) that he's interested in automotive or welding. I'm so lost with him. *smh* 1 Quote
foxbridgeacademy Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Power Basics has a decent Worktext style Algebra and Geometry(they also have a basics Math that I guess would be Pre-Alg). The additional Practice book and Workbook are really needed. Cost is often cheaper on Amazon if you have time to wait for a full set to come up for sale. The only problem is that the answer key is just answers, no solutions to show how problems are worked out. I have a great app called PhotoMath that solves that issue. 2 Quote
almondbutterandjelly Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Lifepacs. Their Geometry looks very good (that's the only one I own some of). I believe they have Lifepacs through PreCal. Quote
Lori D. Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Math-U-See also has workbooks up through all of the high school maths. 1 Quote

foxbridgeacademy Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Yep, we love the Photomath app. You can only use it with printed equations, no handwritten but still extremely helpful. 1 Quote
SilverMoon Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Horizons has a prealg and alg 1 workbook, but they're still writing the rest of the series. 1 Quote

MerryAtHope Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Seconding Math-U-See. The DVD's do the teaching, and the TM has written explanations the student can read if they need to go over it again, and the answer keys show how the problem is worked. Quote
