klmama
A relative mentioned she'd like to go to a yoga class, but can't get there. I'd like to get her a yoga video for Christmas. What can you recommend for a woman with severe osteoporosis - very fragile bones. Jane Adams? Barbara Benagh? Any particular video that's good? Thanks. dirty ethel rackham
Is she otherwise agile? If not, I'm not sure a video would be a good thing. I am an active person with a few aches and pains - I rock climb, walk, etc. I am in an intro to yoga class and I am working very hard and the instructor is making a lot of modifications for me. A live class with a very good instructor may be a better option to start with so that she can work on form and modifications.
umsami
Jane Adams looks good, but I've never used one of her DVDs. I did have some DVDs by Peggy Cappy, who sometimes shows up on PBS pledge drives. :)
