Papillon Mom
I am at a complete loss- there is a tween girl that I'd like to take shopping for first bras and fun clothes that fit but she is much bigger than your average 10 year old but not curvy or developed. She is quite stout but not extremely chunky. The 12-14 size at target is long enough but on the snug side. Where do I go? I do not want anything that says husky or something like that. Please help! Thanks!!!!!!
catz
Justice has half sizing that is the same length, with a larger cut/waist/bust measurement.
zoobie
Husky is the boys' designation. Plus is the girls' version. Justice has plus sizing. Some is online only. I believe JCPenney and Kohl's and Old Navy do also. Target used to for their jeans.
Anne in CA
Justice Plus sizing is cute! It can be spendy, but Black Friday is coming up, and their sales rock.
Momling
You might need to go into women's petite sizes, and avoid v-necks and anything cut for a curvy body. Thats what I did with my 11 yr old. She's taller and developing a waist now and things fit better, but last year we were awkwardly caught in between girls and women's sizes.
