luuknam
I may end up being in the minority, but I can't stand milk or cream in tomato soup. :ack2: I don't get milk/cream in tomato soup either. The first time I encountered it was when my MIL made it, and I'm sorry to say, but it reminded me of vomit in multiple ways. No thanks. I couldn't really vote though since I'm not sure when the last time was I made tomato soup. When I 14 or so? From a package of tomato soup powder, possibly by Knorr? I (obviously) don't really make tomato soup.
Suzanne in ABQ
I once had some leftover enchiladas, and I was making tomato soup for lunch. I cut up the enchiladas, and added the bits to the soup. YUM! Generally, though, I add half a can of water to the soup, then break saltine crackers and float them on top, one at a time, so they don't get soggy. fraidycat
Aw, man. I miss Campbell's soup. :-( And grilled cheese. Dang gluten intolerance!! When I did use it, I used milk, or water, or both. Depended on the day. And it HAD to be Campbell's.
Janie Grace
I hate tomato soup, but I can do the Tomato and Roasted Pepper from Trader Joe's. YUM.
