momto2Cs
I see that used I can buy the older edition of Teaching Textbooks Algebra 1 quite inexpensively. Is the automated grading the largest perk with the newer version, or is the program itself improved? Thanks!
CinV
They have added lessons (over a dozen according to the website) and more problems.
Mom22ns
I don't use it, but my understanding is that TT2 is much closer to the standard scope and sequence for high school algebra, while the original was missing quite a bit. If I were going to use TT, I would get the current version.
ktgrok
yes, it's been updated. Also, the automatic grading is my favorite feature. It tells the student right away if they are wrong, so they can watch a hint and figure it out before moving on to the next problem. This way they don't do five problems in a row wrong, and end up frustrated. Instant feedback has really helped my son with careless mistakes. And if they get bored while doing it the characters make noise to get them back on track :)

Why don't the ones we use in college do that? :/
momto2Cs
Thanks. I was leaning toward the newer version, and this cemented it. As I can use it with both kids, I think it'll be worth the money!

It really is. I hate how expensive it is but it's worth every penny.
