BigMamaBird Posted June 25, 2015 Share Posted June 25, 2015 I can see how it would be. Joe Smith has lived here is whole life and probably flies under the radar unless he's got a criminal history. I assume if someone comes in from a country on a watch list they're subject to more scrutiny. Plus it's easier for someone native to our country to do something more spontaneous. A person coming in from a foreign country has to have a motive, planning, they'd need funding for what they plan to do. I assume a foreign terrorist would need some sort of network where a domestic terrorist like McVeigh or this recent shooter is more or less independent.
