busymama7 Posted June 23, 2015 Share Posted June 23, 2015 My son is headed to Chicago for an lds mission. His early morning flight was canceled but is in the air now. I'm trying not to worry. Only me Posted June 23, 2015 Author Share Posted June 23, 2015 He will be fine in Downers Grove. That is well north of the storms. Also it is fine by the airports. The bad weather is south of there. Heard Woodhaven was hit hard and many people stuck, trees down, etc. Coal City may have been hit hard as well. dirty ethel rackham Posted June 23, 2015 Share Posted June 23, 2015 Praying for all those affected. We only had light rain (and lots of lightning, which made the dog skittish.) But dh has lots of family in the affected areas. I think they are all OK. We were worried it would hit Joliet, where his dad lives.
