Suzanne in ABQ
No more synthetic colors or preservatives. It will be colored with paprika, annatto, and turmeric. https://www.yahoo.com/food/kraft-mac-cheese-shedding-the-dyes-116920352841.html
LisaKinVA
While I'm happy about the change, I know dh will complain if there is the slightest difference in taste. He still laments the removal of "salt" from the water to cook the pasta (which I tell him I add to the water anyhow...but he insists he can taste the difference).
Tsuga
My neighbor will be so happy, LOL. Her kids LOVE M&C and they buy Annie's but it's expensive and not that much better for you and she knows it. I will also be happy because it's my kids' special treat with their dad. I never buy it, but apparently it's the thing to have when mom's not in the kitchen. Good for them. Turmeric is better for you anyway.
Junie
My dd12 will be so thrilled -- another step toward getting rid of the dreaded Red 40 that she is allergic to.
amo_mea_filiis.
Nestle is also taking colors out of candy. My ds is thrilled that he may be able to have a butterfinger one day. Lol

Susan C.
Back when I ate gluten and dairy, the huge amount of annatto in Annie's Mac and Cheese made me wheeze. Evidently one can't handle large amounts of that either. I hope Kraft cuts back the color, it doesn't have to be vibrant yellow/orange! redsquirrel
I was hoping they had figured out how to add actual cheese to their Mac and cheese.
Slartibartfast
I am glad to hear it. We aren't going to quit boycotting Nestle over coloring but I am glad they are going to improve the mac n cheese.
