The pie was devoured in 2 days but the cake is still sitting in the refrigerator. Yet no one wants me to throw it out. It's just sitting there taunting me. I have better willpower than I used to, but this is stretching my limits. And the really bad thing is I want to go back and buy another pie. EmilyGF Posted February 19, 2015 Share Posted February 19, 2015 Cake freezes well (can actually improve upon freezing) and doesn't taste good frozen. So it is less appetizing, can be put at the back of the fridge (saran wrap + alu foil + plastic bag) for a month and then brought out again when you want it.
