MyBlueLobsters
I have never heard of a kangaroo attacking before! At our zoo, there is no protection between the kangaroos and the walking path, just a short rope fence that shows where not to cross. Yikes! I might think twice before walking through that path again...I'm glad the guy is okay! http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/asiapcf/09/01/kangaroo.jogger.attack.ap/index.html

But, as you say, I'm glad the guy is okay. Kangas are big and strong. It could have been worse. This story puts me in mind of another one which struck me as a kind of poetic justice. Pity for the alligator, though. :glare:
swellmomma
Sounds like the kangaroo saw him as competition. It says he ran between a male and female, maybe the kanga saw it as an act of agression/dominance and fought back kwim

Parrothead
I suppose one should never get between a male and female kangaroo.
