TwoEdgedSword
We live in a smallish town. On the bigger side of small if that makes sense. Daughter wants to get together with a few of her friends in town for a birthday celebration and I need ideas for where. Bowling, ice cream, Foo foo coffee shop. I can't really think of anything else. Thanks!
AK_Mom4
Ice Cream is usually my girls favorite spot. Ice Cream followed by a movie or bowling would be a huge hit. DD20 has a winter birthday and one of her best "parties" was sledding at the local hill followed by hot chocolate and treats at our house. These were all high school seniors, so "playing kid" again was a big hit.
G5052
That's what mine likes. One year we did brunch out with her friends and then went to a paint-your-own pottery place to make a tile. The same year her best friend had high tea at their house and then they played board games.
Library Momma
Hibachi can be fun!
TwoEdgedSword
Do you offer to pay for the ice cream or movie of your guests? In the past, when it was just a couple of girls coming along, I would insist on it, but this may be a larger group.
AnIslandGirl
Do you have a day spa locally? Manicures, pedicures, chair massages, facials (maybe a combination of a few of these) some time to hang out in the steam room or hydrotherapy tub with a catered lunch would be fun! Around here, the host typically pays for all invited guests if it is a Birthday party type gathering.

Muttichen
I did a scavenger hunt party for dd a few years ago. They were in groups and had to run around town taking photos, etc; then we all met for pizza. Everyone paid for their own pizza because it was a large group and it is pretty much the norm among her group of friends that there are no gifts and instead guests pay for the activity.
