So given my son's age (he will turn 10 in the spring), NT would be a better start, right? I am thinking about saving C&P for when he is in middle school.

My boys just turn 9 & 10. NT is smooth sailing until the last few chapters where some thinking is required. My older also loves Mayan and Binary number systems which helps for NT.

You can keep C&P until after NT unless your boy happen to love C&P like my older does.

So here is my new plan: :)

Summer - NT & SM 7 workbook for just fluency practice

Next year - Algebra 1 followed by C&P

Followed by the combination of Geometry and Algebra 2 portion of the book.

I hope I am not the only nutcase planning this 2 hears ahead. :)
