And yet, it says that I will need tiles with "th", "sh" and "ch. New teaching talks about TH, SH and CH, but all the practice words on page 53 have to do with Short U. And then Step 12 also covers TH, SH and CH Is unit 9 has an error and should I contact the company or am I missing something here? Mandylubug Posted September 13, 2014 Share Posted September 13, 2014 Most of AAS and AAR lessons introduce a new concept and then let it "simmer" a bit. Just like the short u had been introduced previously, this lesson quickly introduced the consonant blend and then reviewed spelling with short u just like previous short vowel sound steps. It teaches the phonogram, then you practice it with the daily review on the yellow cards for a few lessons before spelling words with it.
