Have I been reporting posts instead of liking them?

I have been using my cell phone lately for reading forums due to done problems with my pc.

 

Each post had a small check on the upper right hand corner. I figured that was for liking the post but it has occurred to me it could serve some other purpose....like reporting the post. What does checking that off do???

If you had reported the post, you would see a screen of a message you would send to the mod squad. You would then type in your message and click send. So I think you're in the clear as far as reporting posts accidentally.

I'm not sure what the check is for, but if you report a post it moves to a section where you explain why you reported it. So, if you're not seeing that, i suspect you aren't 'reporting' it.  I don't post from my phone. Some else might have more info on that.

The check means you liked it.  I think.  :)

You click the check in order to "like" the post. I don't think you can actually report while using the mobile version of the site.

Phew, thanks! I have actually been checking it a lot whereas on the pc I hardly ever like posts...just so easy on the phone though.

 

I see I can't even edit a post. Or else the option is well concealed.
