Model UN Online

Recommended Posts

I would think homeschoolers can participate base on what is stated on their webpage

Individual middle school students can join jrO-MUN as an individual student, but we encourage teachers to participate with their classes, possibly as a school club or to augment a social studies unit. Once a student is on the  jrO-MUN Edmodo site, they are free to participate independently."

And I have found this on the FAQ page a a reason for O-MUN:  Many students simply don't have access to MUN in their school curriculum or in their town/city.

So... I will rephrase my question.  Has anyone used O-MUN?  I am intrigued.

I don't know about the online program, but the social studies curriculum specialist for my school district (in a state where homeschoolers aren't allowed to participate in school activities) approached me and asked me if I could encourage local homeschoolers to join Model UN because they needed students.  So you might ask around and see if your child could participate with a local group.

(I just noticed that you're in Denmark.  Well, maybe my information will be useful to someone else!)
