sdobis
I'd like to do a one semester logic course with my junior. He hasn't had any logic courses in the past. What would you recommend?

Kendall
I liked the look of Discovery of Deduction but I haven't used it and don't own it. My son really liked a college text by Peter Kreeft called Socratic Logic but it is definitely not a one semester course nor an independent one for a student with no formal logic background(or even for most with some background). My son worked through it in 9th grade, but he had Traditional Logic 1 and 2 before that.
raristy
We liked the Introduction to Logic and Intermediate Logic by James Nance. We found the DVDs very helpful and would highly recommend them. It was new and challenging, but my daughter enjoyed it very much. Blessings, Rosa
