scrapbookbuzz
You'd think it was the end of the world the way my 9yo ds is acting. A few minutes ago I gave him and my 15yo dd math assessments. I told them I can't help them, I'm only here to facilitate. My ds is doing everything he can do except actually work on the problems! Thankfully, my dd is quietly working on hers. I told them they're not timed or graded. Oi! Every time I have this boy sit down to do math, he resists. For whatever reason, he just keeps stating he doesn't like math. It's not that he can't do it, he can do it just fine . . . when he wants to. Anyone else with me here?
Snickerdoodle
Want to make your head explode? Tell them you're going to time them. LOL

Arcadia
There is a reason I let my hubby proctor any written assessments and I am happy to pay for online ones.

Ethel Mertz
Same here with our 11 yr old. At 8 years old, he was impossible.Three years later, he still doesn't like math, whines about it, but will grudgingly do it. There is hope.
