Ipsey
Title says it all. I have a little Toshiba Satellite that I love. (It's the second I've owned) But it's done used up. :D I can't afford a new laptop right now, but I do need a laptop. So, refurbished suggestions, anyone? Thanks so much! milovany
Well, a couple of thoughts. I've purchased refurbished from New Egg and was pleased (I didn't keep that laptop but solely because I decided I didn't want one of the features it offered, not because the laptop itself had problems). I've also purchased refurbished from Dell and didn't have any problems. Dell is my go-to computer company. That said, my daughter is looking for a laptop and Dell has a new one available for $299 right now and I can't imagine a refurbished one being less expensive than that. I also saw, yesterday, a Gateway laptop advertised in our local megastore for $329. So it's possible to find some pretty inexpensive new laptops. Best to you! ThatHomeschoolDad
DD's refurb came via amazon, but the refurb was done by the manufacturer, which I trust more that some random seller.
