Homeschoolmom3
Any suggestions for a good online or self paced course or book to work through. My son has taken many years of Latin and wants to start with Greek now. Thanks for your input!

Corraleno
I highly recommend Lukeion's ancient Greek courses. The text they use, Athenaze, also includes translation of NT passages. They offer 4 years of Greek; the first two years use Athenaze and years 3 & 4 are reading courses. Classes are live and meet one hour per week for 16 weeks per semester; there is a homework assignment (grammar and translation) and a quiz every week. There are also lots of online games and activities to reinforce the grammar and vocab, and all students take the National Greek Exam in March. Homeschoolmom3
Yes, I was looking at that but was thinking it might be too much since he will be in Latin 3 too next year, which were were thinking of trying there next year. He has had Latin at VP then we had to go to Scholars Online due to internet issues. I have heard Lukeion is challenging particularly in the upper Latin courses. Kareni
You might find this current thread from the Logic Stage board of interest. It contains far more content than the title would indicate. Elementary Greek or Athenaze? Regards, Kareni
