MinivanMom
Loved this post. I have been thinking about many of the same things since my kids got the movie for Christmas (and have watched it one too many times). Based on the themes of their movies, I'm thinking that someone over at Pixar has a real philosophical interest in the nature of giftedness. kiwik
There is a good chance there are more than the usual proportion of gifted people at Pixar. I am already seeing fear of not being best at maths in ds6 and it scares me. And surely if grit is more important than IQ the schools should be putting more effort in to providing opportunities to gain grit.
