klmama
We're visiting relatives later this week, and ds just announced he wants to visit a college on Friday while we are in the area. Would it be incredibly bad form to call just a few days before visiting when their website asks for two weeks notice? Should we just visit on our own to take a look at the place without involving admissions?
creekland
I'd call. They expect these things to happen - just mention that this is a last minute decision. Chances are, unless it's a really popular school with tons of visitors, they'll be happy to have you!
Sunshine State Sue
Many schools allow you to register for information session and campus tour online. I'd do that if possible ASAP. If there is no online registration, I'd call ASAP. The worst thing that can happen is they say no and you do a self-tour.
ThisIsTheDay
Just saw your post today. I'm looking forward to hearing how it goes! I agree, I would expect them to embrace you as long as a tour was available and they had room. :D
