BakersDozen
I decided on Jump Right In! by Jean Andrews (found on Amazon). While we are not doing all of the chapters as I figure my dc already know how to use the internet for research and communication, we are doing the chapters on Power Point, Excel, word processing, etc. To my great surprise this program is a favorite with my dc even to the point they work on the projects during their free time. My 16yos just finished a very impressive slide slow presentation that he is super proud of (and rightly so). I give this book a big thumbs up! merylvdm
Jans101 online lessons are free and cover Excel, Word etc ....just google and you should find them. She is a college lecturer but I actually used them for my kids at elementary level. We did computer programming as electives in high school - not sure if you are looking for ideas for that.
