J-rap
We seem to have accumulated 4 sets of golf clubs, each set in a golf bag. A friend of mine has offered to sell them at her garage sale. Do you know what price range I can list them at? I know nothing about golf and nothing about these sets. Most of them belonged to relatives who gave them to us at some point because they thought with a family of 7, someone would use them someday! :) Thank you! Jennifer in MI
Depends on the clubs. We sold a set last year at our garage sale for $75! Not bad. But, they were good clubs. Good luck! We arrived at the price after a quick Google and Craigslist search.
J-rap
How do you even know what to search? Will there be a name imprinted on the clubs somewhere?
DawnM
Yes, the clubs will have a name brand on them and should have some sort of number or markings for style. JNW
My DH just got some used Titlist clubs with the bag for $100 a couple of weeks ago.
DawnM
Titelist is a name just like Toyota.....the range is great in the varying kinds you can get. My DH just got some used Titlist clubs with the bag for $100 a couple of weeks ago.
JNW
Oh I don't know anything about golf, I was just answering the original question... "Do you know what price range I can list them at?" Definitely no expert here!
DawnM
Ah, got it. OP: If they are selling them at a yard sale I assume they aren't worth a huge amount (not over $100) but they could be worth $20......I would look them up and then also gage the usage.....are they really well used, scratched up, grips worn? That sort of thing. Oh I don't know anything about golf, I was just answering the original question... "Do you know what price range I can list them at?" Definitely no expert here! happi duck
When selling specific items at a garage sale we've had good luck with listing the specific items in our craigslist ad...that way when people search for a specific item they find the listing for the garage sale.
