DragonFaerie
DS did the first lesson of his new language arts program this morning (Essentials in Writing). I actually heard him laugh out loud at something the teacher on the DVD said, and when he was finished, he demanded that I buy the program for every grade level from now on. Score!!! Now let's hope he still feels that way come lesson 8 or 17 or 35 or 49.... :D

atozmom
So happy you found something that is working!!! :hurray: I had looked at this a couple of times, but didn't think it would fit for us. I was on the fence about it for a while. I think I have already decided on a writing program for next year. So now I am going to quickly exit and not look at this thread again!!!!! No, no, no, I am not going to look at the samples again!!!! ugh.....off to look at the samples once again :leaving:
Michelle My Bell
I have had similar response to our new Spelling program - Rod and Staff. The girls love it and are singing its praises. :)
Dahliarw
Yay! Glad it is working. We just started the same program last week (WWE2 was just too easy for my ds). He LOVES it so far!
