fairfarmhand
Do I want a MacArthur or a Ryrie? dh has a Ryrie, so I thought I would get the MacArthur just to have a different perspective. However, I do love his Ryrie. The notes, maps, timelines and diagrams are very cool and helpful to me. Will I like a MacArthur as well? (it will be ESV either way.) Chris in VA
I had a Ryrie, but now I disagree with the theology (tho I loved it back in the day!). I'm not sure about the McArthur. Just to toss in another one, have you seen the Archeological Study Bible? It's my current favorite. :001_smile:
acurtis75
Dh and I have MacArthur study bibles and really like them. The notes are thorough and clear. I would go for the MacArthur because I like the idea of having two options available to review since your dh already has the Ryrie.
