Camping w/dog in Florida

Just kidding! I know you wouldn't ever do that!! But now I'll think of this story whenever I hear about dogs going camping with their owners.

From reading the article, I would side with the dog owner. Off topic, but here's why:

He valued human lives more than canine ones and made the best choices he could. I adore my puppy, but I would put the life of any stranger over his if I ever were, g-d forbid, in such a situation.

I know around here (FL) the campgrounds generally accept dogs - but the beaches are off limits. So are most of the trails. Makes it really hard to go do anything - it can be tough to leave a dog in the campsite alone....

Just a FYI for you to check out before you book.
