sassenach
Dd15 has a pretty neat idea for a business that I think is worth pursuing. Are there any resources out there for specifically helping a teen create a business plan? I have zero experience in this. Thanks!
Katy
Specifically for a teen? Not that I can think of. But most teens are completely capable of finding the section of books on business plans in the library or book store, reading one or more, and writing it from the book. The only teen business books I know of are biographies of teens who succeeded in business.
FrogMom5
Don't the IEW folks have a book about running a business for teens? Give me a few minutes and I'll try to dig it out for you. Denise Ok, here it is - it's called "Lemonade to Leadership." It says it includes record keeping, marketing, merchandising, writing and implementing a business plan, among other things. It also says each lesson offers an optional writing assignment, so it could do double duty for you! Is this what you are looking for - minus the writing assignments? If I come across anything else, I'll let you know. HTH Denise Edited August 5, 2012 by FrogMom5
