Do you use wool dryer balls?

Recommended Posts

We made a whole bunch yesterday to sell with our laundry soap.

I used them this morning, and I was wondering what size you prefer.

Ours vary wildly in size, but I think I will just let customers pick any three regardless of the size.

I'm really happy with how pretty they are. I can't tell if they really cut down on drying time, so I might have to try some experiments.

Thanks!

I put everything on the "less dry" setting, and they came out great, but maybe I've just been over drying our clothes all of these years.

How many do you use at a time?

I scented ours with a patchouli, sandalwood, jasmine, orange blend, and the laundry smells yummy.

I could just market it for aromatherapy for scullery maids.

I tried to use wool balls in the dryer. But dh and the kids think they make better playing balls. (Wow--they bounce so well! Catch!!) :glare: The cat likes them, too. I only had 2 so that's all I used. They were slightly smaller than a tennis ball. I have no idea if they reduced drying time.

Hmm, I have some scrap wool. I think I will make myself a couple more of these.
