Philothea Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 at dd 2.5... This usually bright child disobeyed me, after I told her to put the geoboard away. Well, I thought she had put it away, actually she lazily threw it in front of the hs bookcase. I was chasing DS back to his room to clean up his toys, and I stepped on the geoboard. It's broken, and my foot feels like it too! I have pretty thick skin on the feet (kinda like a Hobbit, lol) but the peg cut me pretty good. So if anyone else has ever stepped on a geoboard, I feel your pain tonight. Whew, I feel better already! Thanks for letting me vent. Quote
Jen500 Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 I have learned to wear slippers around the house for my own comfort and safety. We don't have a geoboard, but lego and metal airplanes are sharp! Hope your foot feels better. Quote
snickelfritz Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 since my dd stepped on the Geoboard that SHE left out. THAT'S a natural consequence that will be remembered. Quote
Once Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 Ouch! I hope your going to be OK! :grouphug: I love them at that age but man do I look forward to them growing up a little. Quote
Plaid Dad Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 I had to pry a small Lego bit out of my foot last night after dd's cousin left it on the floor. I feel your pain! Quote
Academy of Jedi Arts Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 The little balls that come with Zome tools are no fun either. :cursing: Quote
titianmom Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 We used to use a mommy bag. You don't put it away, it goes in the mommy bag and you might get to see it again in maybe 6 mths.... Kim Quote
