TN Mama Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 I had planned on using Homeschool in the Woods timeline figures, but recently discovered they subscribe to a young earth theory and that doesn't align with what we believe. Are there Timeline figures that follow the old earth theory? Thanks :) Side note: I tend to stay out of political and religious discussion here and try to respect everyone's differences, but I thought if anyone could answer my question it would be someone from the Hive! chai Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 I wish that I had an answer for you. I haven't found anything. I have used History Through the Ages timeline figures. They use Young Earth dates, but you can print the pictures without the dates. I wasn't able to find a way to change the dates. Quote

Kelli in TN Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 Could you google images and maybe find what you are looking for? Not as convenient of course, but it might be enough to fill in the gaps. Quote
Chris in VA Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 I agree with Kelli--it's very easy to find your own, of the major events and people at least. I use yahoo images, and have had a great time doing it Quote
Allearia Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 This is a great site to use to get small black and white clipart for timelines: http://etc.usf.edu/clipart/mySearch.php Quote
melissel Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 Might this fit the bill? I'm not entirely sure what makes a good time line, and we are secular HSers, so I'm also not sure what might be required for an old earth timeline, but it looks like you should be able to work with this, maybe... http://pandiapress.com/timeline.html Quote
TN Mama Posted July 7, 2008 Author Posted July 7, 2008 Thank you to all the replies. I now have a better idea of what I need to fill our timeline needs. Melissel, I guess I didn't really ask my question the way I meant to. It wasn't that I really needed to find Old Earth timeline figures, but instead I needed to find some that did not follow the Young Earth theory. I appreciate all the help. Quote
