nukeswife
Has everyone seen this. It's only available as a download now but it looks just as great as the Time Travelers. We were supposed to do modern times this year, but I may have to tack this on the end. I can't wait to see the new series Amy is working on too, although I hope she gets ancients done before we need it. I know she has been working on Middle Ages. Cynful
:001_wub: We just love her stuff. Can't wait for her new program. We are waiting for ancients too. Maybe this could fill in while we wait.
3peasinapod
This looks really good. I can't wait to use some of the American resources next year.
skeeterbug
Wondering if anyone has seen the Great Empires study linked below? Looks good, maybe a good supplement to SOTW. Has everyone seen this. Cynful
Is there somewhere I can see what is in the works? We are doing ancients now but middle ages next year. Their facebook page usually has updates. They expect their new project to be released in a few weeks. And next they are working on Renaissance and Reformation. No ancients. :( But I'm still looking forward to it. :) I absolutely love their products.
thowell
For those who have seen it how easy would it be to add in to ECC by MFW? I would like to add a little history per country we study. Edited August 5, 2012 by thowell
Alte Veste Academy
Oh my! Oh my! OH MY MY MY!!!! I love HITW! Love, love love! I can't tell you how happy I was to see this thread, as I had no idea they were cooking up something for the Middle Ages, right smack dab where we're headed this year. And in just a couple of weeks?!?! Yippee!! I just added it to my signature, sight unseen. :tongue_smilie: Uh-huh. Their stuff is just that good!! :hurray:
Aurelia
We're going to use some the Great Empires lessons (Egypt, Greece, Rome and Ancient China) with my own cobbled together ancient history studies next year. The activities and lessons look really good, and will probably be better for us than trying to do the SOTW activities again with a 3rd/4th grader. We originally did SOTW1 when DD was in K/1, and really, the chicken mummy was enough to do once. I'm not interested in repeating it. :tongue_smilie:
