Alicia64
My boys just finished reading the Dragon Slayer's Academy. There are so far 20 books and they're up to 19. They're ready for another series for their silent reading. Any suggestions? Thanks, Alley
Guest MCEnfinger
There are 13 books in this series (plus a few supplemental type books) and they are wonderful.
Dana
My son has enjoyed the How to Train a Dragon series, Warriors, and lately, 39 Clues.
lisabees
Here are some ideas at a similar level, maybe kicking it up a notch: Bunnicula series Poppy series Ramona and others by Cleary (Ralph and Henry) Anything Roald Dahl - not a series, of course, but if you are a Dahl lover, you will be hooked for a while. MissKNG
Geronimo Stilton Magic School Bus
Alicia64
Here are some ideas at a similar level, maybe kicking it up a notch: Bunnicula series Poppy series Ramona and others by Cleary (Ralph and Henry) Anything Roald Dahl - not a series, of course, but if you are a Dahl lover, you will be hooked for a while. They've read all of these, the Magic Tree House and Magic School Bus. But I'm excited to order Guardians of Ga'hoole and Geronimo Stilton. Thank you everyone! Any more? mc26
My 9 yo DS's favorite book is Justin Case by Rachel Vail. She just came out with a sequel which he is thoroughly enjoying as well. He is a very reluctant fiction reader, BTW. He also likes the How to Train Your Dragon series.
Mrs Twain
I second the Redwall series. My kids wanted to read them in Chronological order, though many people recommend them to be read in the order in which they were published. There are over 20 of the books in the series, and they are quite thick.
