momto2Cs
Can anyone tell me approximately how big the "small" books in this series are? I tried looking on Amazon, and got everything from no page count listed to upwards of 200 pages. Thanks! Oh, and if you have used these books, did you like them? Kalmia
I assume you mean the Prentice Hall Science books such as Electricity and Magnetism; Motion, Forces, and Energy; or Parade of Life. The editions I have run between 141 and 184 pages. We've liked them. I found them for about 1-2$ plus shipping so they were a good alternative to the larger Science Explorer books. They cover the same topics. They also read a more smoothly. There is a bit more explanation of the topics. There is some dated information in Electricity and Magnetism. We skipped that chapter. gingersmom
I think I am the only person on these boards that hated science explorer.
