WeeBeaks
I saw this on another board, and tried it. It appears to work fine though I don't have the books in hand yet! It did go through the order process and deducted fine when code was placed in the coupon area. Use code FREESHIP for free shipping up to $25 on your half.com order of books through 6/4. alpidarkomama
Thanks! I used it, and it worked. You have to type FREESHIP in all-caps though. Hooray!
cottonmama
This worked for me, too. It takes off up to $25 of your shipping costs, so based on my math you can get the full shipping taken off of about 7 books. (And $0.50 off the 8th if you didn't get any hardbacks.) mamakven
i bet if you can manage to sync your books to as many same sellers as possible you could get more! off to find out :)
hollyh
FYI you need to spend $10 on actual books... to do so cost me about $17. That probably sounds funny but when some books are less than $1 used... Awesome deal! Thanks!
mom2abcd
Thank you!!!!!
eloquacious
ARGHH. I entered the coupon, then removed a few books from my order, and now when i try to enter the coupon again, it tells me that I've already used it. Um, no. You only use it when you place an order, not when you're playing around with your shopping cart. Grrr.
Bbunch5
Thank you SO MUCH for posting this. I just bought 8 books I needed for ten dollars and change.
eloquacious
Okay, after completely clearing out my cart and then refilling it with different books, as well as signing out and back in, I was able to use the code. Whee! I was able to get the entire 12-book "I Can Read / Made by God" series for about $1.70 per book... and they're all brand new! The best deal I'd found previously was Amazon's 4 for 3, but then they'd still have been $3 each. :) (Incidentally I only got 12 books because they were all available from the same seller, so the shipping was reduced on all but one book.) eloquacious
If, ahem, your spouse also has an ebay/half.com account, you can use the coupon twice. ;)
eloquacious
Does anyone know how often half.com does this? Is it annual, or 2-3x year maybe?
kubiac
Thank you so much! What a great deal. I got six older, OOP books that were recommended by my girl Dorothy Butler that I haven't been able to find on PBS or in thrift shops.
