Sahamamama
I am sitting here, just for a few moments before the rest of the evening chores, and my 3.5 year old daughter comes up to me. Stands by my elbow. Says, "Hi, Mommy." Mother responds, "Hi, Sweetie." Daughter nudges closer. "I love you, Mommy, aaaaaaaand maybe you can read to me tonight, or something, maybe some Bible stories or something." Sigh. Yes, I am logging off now. It was the "or something" that got me. Sahamamama
But, I lucked out, because at that very moment, my sweet and wonderful husband came in and swooped her up, saying, "How 'bout if Daddy reads to you, and we just let Mommy have some time to herself?" Now, how's THAT for a sweet man? So... THEY are snuggled up reading about the gill openings of goldfish -- definitely NOT Bible stories, but at least it's something -- and I am BAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK! Heh heh heh.

Nestof3
What a keeper! Both of them actually. My youngest, Ben, will say "Nobody bees with me anymore" when he's needing attention. I get the same "lame mom award" feeling.
